Short version: this site doesn't run analytics or advertising trackers. The only thing stored in your browser is a single, strictly-necessary item that remembers whether you accepted or declined the cookie notice, so you don't get asked again on every visit.

What's stored today

  • Cookie consent choice — stored in your browser'slocalStorage (not a cookie in the technical sense — it never leaves your device or gets sent to our servers) under the keynxg-cookie-consent, with a value of acceptedor declined. This is strictly necessary to remember your preference and doesn't require consent to set.
  • Language choice — stored the same way, under the key nxg-lang, as en or bg. See "Third-party requests" below for how this gets set on your first visit.

That's the complete list. No analytics IDs, no advertising identifiers, no third-party tracking pixels.

Third-party requests

This site loads two typefaces from Google Fonts. Loading a font involves a request to Google's servers, which — like any request to any server — includes your IP address. Google Fonts' standard delivery does not set cookies for this. If we switch to self-hosted fonts, this section will be removed.

This site is also offered in Bulgarian. On your first visit, if you don't already have a language saved, your browser makes a request togeojs.ioto look up your country from your IP address, so we can show you the Bulgarian version automatically if you're visiting from Bulgaria. That lookup sends your IP address to geojs.io; we don't receive or store it ourselves. Your resulting language choice (or the one you pick yourself via the EN/BG switch in the menu) is then saved the same way as the cookie notice choice above, so the lookup only happens once.

If that changes

If we add analytics or marketing tools in the future (for example, to understand which pages are useful), they'll only run after you accept the cookie notice, and this page will be updated first to describe exactly what's added and why.

Your choices

You can change your decision at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page. You can also clearlocalStorage for this site directly through your browser's site settings, which resets the notice to show again on your next visit.
